The Modern Apprenticeship system that was introduced during the 1990s was significantly amended in 2003-04 by the introduction of new frameworks and new titles.
Pye Tait was asked to review the structure from a sector viewpoint and, particularly, to examine the barriers to greater take up of this successful initiative.
Detailed interviewing, desk research and contact with the UK’s four nations enabled us to construct a unique set of recommendations which took into account existing barriers as well as sector constraints and ambitions.
