Specialist Areas
The website as a whole provides a very good indication of the broad range of Pye Tait’s areas of expertise as a company.
It goes without saying that our staff are expected to be interested in all things 'education and training' and everything associated with the development of people to make the best of their working lives.
Staff are also expected to be able to turn their hands to all tasks within a professional consultancy. Our culture is one that does not recognise seniority as a reason for not undertaking administrative tasks. It is only by fully appreciating the difficulties of administering research and implementing interviews and questionnaires that practical and methodological pitfalls can be avoided.
In addition to overall knowledge and ability, each member of staff possesses one or more areas of specialism. These are usually self-selected to complement interests and character and could be in any of the following areas (and more):
- vocational education
- apprenticeships
- further and higher education and qualifications
- occupational standards
- quantitative analysis (SPSS, SNAP, etc)
- surveying techniques and questionnaire design
- qualitative techniques
- education theory
